Summer 2010

Its been awful hot here for the last few days. While in down town Nashville it was 101 so we came back to the camp site and try to stay cool. Here at the camp site it was 95 +. Have not done a lot since we been here just look around Nashville and Lebanon. We visited with other forum members and just sat around talk.

Got up yesterday and it was already humid. Got out the flags and couple of other things. We decided to check out Lebanon TN and stop at Wal-mart for a few things. While we was gone Big Greg and Judy came into camp. There was a couple of other forum members that show up also. We sit around for our Five O'clock Somewhere.

Well we arrive here at Country Side Resort in Lebanon TN about 3 PM Saturday with Don & Carol. It was a nice drive of 305 miles from Green Wood IN where we stay (Camping World) for the first night. The Camp ground owners are real nice people and welcome us with open arms. We have are site and are all set up but Don & Carol had to take another site till morning cause some one is on the their site. We came in early so we could look around the area and see what is there.

Summer 2010/Lebanon TN

Well we are getting ready to hit the road again in a couple of hours. We are heading for Lebanon TN to meet up with some friends at a forum rally. Don & Carol will be traveling with us to TN and then to some other place.

Lois washed the 5th wheel yesterday and I washed the truck. It started raining about 10 minutes after we had finished. They look better then what it did.

Summer 2010

We took off from Eagle Casino Camp Ground around 8:30 AM and drove straight through. I do not do this very often, its to much driving for one day for me. It rain about half way down so we decided to go all the way home. We got her about 7 PM last night. It was a good trip up north and a busy one. Maybe next time we can just sit back and take it easy.

We leave on Friday for Lebanon TN with a couple of friends to meet up with some other friends down there. Will spend a week there and not to sure what else is planed. I'm just the driver you know.

Its was a beautiful day yesterday. In the 90's and sunny. We all went to the casino and play for a couple of hours and came back to the camp site and play Peg's & Jokers. Around 8:30 we went to Hermansville to watch the fire works. This a very small town just a few miles north east of the casino. They had quit the show of fire works for such a small town. It was well worth going and seeing the fire works there.

On Wednesday we drove on back roads to Menominee MI and had lunch at the Pizza Hut there and then we drove over to Marinette WI.

Yesterday we drove about 230 miles north west of here on some more back roads to Watersmeet MI. It just happens to have a casino there. We stop and play a little but did not have any luck. On the way to Watersmeet MI we stop at a little town to have lunch. After we got back to camp we show the rest of the gang how to play Pegs & Jokers.
