Fall/Winter & Spring 2011/2012

Well we drove around and look over the area a little yesterday. We did find a par 3 golf course for free here, got to be the first one I ever seen. Of course we also had to go to Wal-Mart for Lois's fix's. Today its rainy and a bit chilly so I guess we are not doing much.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2011/2012

Well we made it here to Campbellsvile Ky around noon on Monday. After setting up camp we waited for our friends to come back from Amazon. They start working today (Wednesday) from 6:30 a.m. for about 5 hours for a couple of weeks and then 10 hours a day three days a week. After Mike & Sandra got back we went to eat at a nice restaurant. We drove around after we ate to get a few of the city etc. Today Lois and I will go to Wally World and drive around a bit.

Will we made it as far as Indy or just south of it in Greenwood IN at the Camping World Store parking lot. We will leave here around 9 this morning. Should be in Campbellsville KY around 2 pm today.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2011/2012

Well we leave in a couple of hours after we shut everything down here at home. Turn and blow out water lines empty hot water tank and turn off gas. Should be on the road around 10 A.M. this morning. First stop will be in Greenwood IN at the camping world lot and then on to Campbellsville KY for a couple of months. Don & Carol and along with Chuck & Vicki have a great winter and try to stay warm.

Little River Casino M&M II

Well we left Goshen IN and the PassPort America Rally on Saturday and got here in Manistee MI at the Little River Casino for the Michigan Mini on Sunday. There are 13 rigs here and we had brats and dogs for supper on Sunday. Today we went to Mac Woods in Mears MI and road the Sand Dunes and than went to the Casino. Here are a couple of pictures of the dunes.

On Wednesday we went to a Old House in Manistee by the name of The Babcock House. This place had a lot of history in it and a lot of old musical stuff. We was there for about two hours listening to this guy talk about it. He also lives in it. Also Lois got lucky and won $300 at the Casino and she was all smiles. Thursday will be a free day to do what ever. Around 2 PM we all got together and play some games and had pictures taken of the group. Most of us went to supper at the Casino after the games and happy hour.

On Friday we got things pick up around the camp site so we could leave, but first went to breakfast at the Casino. They sure have a great breakfast there. Got on the road to head home around 11 AM after all the goodbyes was said. Its always sad to say good by after having a great week with our HitchHiker friends. We made it home safe and sound around 3 PM and unpacked the 5th wheel. Tomorrow we will wash and wax the 5th wheel.

Passport of America Rally 2011

Well we are here at the Passport Rally with Don & Carol and a few of our friends from Michigan. We arrive on Monday morning and set up. Later that day we went out to eat at Ponderosa. Yesterday there was about 4 couples of us that went over to Shipshewana IN for the flea market. Last night we had a good supper at the Rally and Don Tersini. He is a one of the Nation's Premier Comedy Impressionist. Today is actual full day of the Rally. I think they said there was 340 rigs here. You can reach out and touch your neighbor.

Well boy has this been a busy summer. We are getting ready for the Passport America rally in Goshen, Indiana. We will be going with our friends from home Don and Carol this will be the first big rally for them. We will be meeting a group of friends that we have meet at other rallies. This should be a lot of fun. After the Passport America rally we will be heading for Manistee, Mich for a Mini Haulin Hitchhiker get together there will be about twelve campers of us another fun time. We just bought a pontoon boat and have been busy fixing it up and getting ready for some fishing with friends Chuck and Vickie, and some relax time on the lake. Life is good when you can spend time with your friends. It just doesn't seem possible but Oct 1 will be here before you know it. We got our work notice and we start working on Oct 16, 2011 at Amazon.com in Campbellsville, Kentucky. We will work from Oct 16 until Dec 23 and than head further south for a couple of months.
