Still

Well its been a few days since I updated this blog, but there really hasn't been much to tell. Just finishing up the bathroom we redid. The weather is getting colder here everyday, need to get to a warmer place soon. Our High School football team made to the semi finals but loss in a close game. The kids give it all they had and then some. Well till the next time I update, all be safe and healthy.

Working at Home

Well we have been home for a week now and I'm ready to hit the road already. We had to fix the floor around the stool in our small bathroom. The stool had a leak so I replace the stool and Lois wants to replace the vanity and tub. Nothing much going on here, but cold weather. Our High School football team is in the finals, they have not lost a game this year. They need to win two (2) more game before they can go to the state.
Lois is working on getting everything ready so we can leave at the end of December for Texas for the rest of the winter. I'm trying to get things done also before we leave. We are going out to diner with a couple of friends that we have not seen for a while. Well till I have more to tell everyone I will stop for now. Ron & Lois

Home

Well we made back home, it only took about an hour. Got the trailer wash and blew out the lines and empty the fresh water tank. We will be here for about 8 weeks till we get lose ends tie up. Then we are going where it is warm. Ron & Lois

All Most Home

Not much going on today just getting ready to pull out of here and head north.

10-30-07

Left this morning at 8:30 am, it was foggy by by the time we got to highway 65 it was sunny and 66 degrees. Mittens isn't doing the travel thing very well. Had to stop and put her in the bathroom in her cage. All she wants to do is cry. Arrived at Woods & Waters campground in Columbus IN. about 3pm but lost an hour going north, now we are in eastern time zone. It seems that the further north we go the gas prices keep going up. Lois and I drove thru Brown County State Park and I got to say that is a place you have to see. It was a beautiful sight to see.

Sight Seeing

Well we have done nothing but drive around Nashville. On Saturday went to the Hermitage, it was real interesting to visit (Thanks Greg & Judy). Today just drove all over looking at difference things. Till next time have a great day.

Updated Travel

10-19-07

Left at 7am to take trailer to Youngs. They said it would be about 10am fefore it is ready. Went and ate breakfast and p/u trailer at 10am and on the road by 10:30AM. Youngs said they did not find anything wrong but change the axle anyway. They found a blot missing on the shock they fix that too. Went to Webb City MO. at the Sears Store to get tires changed but had to wait for about 4 hours. They had to have them come from Springfield MO. We arrived at Hollister about 7PM. Bill & Judye Teetz was there waiting for us with Judy Bahnmiller. We stay at Turkey Creek Camp Ground (Escapees Park)

10-20-07 Saturday

Went to Dixie Stampede Show (dinner show) had no silverware. After show we went and drove around Branson

10-21-07 Sunday

Went to Branson Meadows Mall. Was a lazy day for most the day.

10-22-07 Monday

We went to Cassville MO. and got our America the Beautiful Card at the Corp of Engineers. Also went to Table Rock Dam. Watched a film about how it was built and then to the Fish Hatchery.

10-23-07 Tuesday

Had Hamburges at the Camp Grounds and they went to Tanger Mall with Bill & Judy. Came back to camp ground at 4pm to meet up with Greg & Judy, Dave & Trish to go to supper at Lamberts.

10-24-07 Wednesday

We all went shopping at the Landing. The Girls went shopping and the guys went to a pub.

10-25-07 Thursday

Left Branson MO. Dave & Trisha, Greg & Judy, Bill & Judye were all there to say good-by. We hated to leave our new friends, we had a great time them. Hope to meet up with them again soon. We arrived at Sikeston MO. at Hinton RV Park about 4pm. We took highway 60, it was a good road.

10-26-07 Friday

Left Hinton RV Park at 11:25am and head for Nashville TN. Arrive at Nashville Tn about 4pm. We are staying in Nashville I-24 Campground about 17 miles from Nashville TN. Its in Smyrna TN.
