Summer 2010/Leisure Campground

Well we hit the road yesterday for about 100 miles to Leisure Lake Campground in Summer MI. This is where we met up with about 9 other HH for the MM (Michigan Mini). When we got here there was already 5 HH here. We all got together around 6 PM for Hamburgers and Hot Dogs furnish by Greg & Judy. We sat around for a while visiting with each other and around 9:30 PM we had bond fire. It was nice to have one since its been hot here in Michigan and no one wanted to have one.

Here it is Wednesday and we have been having some great weather here. All together we have had 11 units show up for the Michigan Mini. Paul & Dottie Lantz show yesterday. They was on the the way home from Alaska to PA and decided to stop by for a couple of days. Our friends from FL was on there way home from Traverse City MI and also decided to stop by for a couple of days.

Well its has been a great M&M here at Leisure Lake. I believe everyone had a good time at the M&M. Four units left on Thursday and the rest of us left today. We got home about 1:30 PM and got 5th wheel unloaded. We will be home for about 3 weeks before we had to Otisville MI for the GSR.

Summer 2010

Well we made it back safe and sound. Got home around 4:30 pm yesterday. It was a good drive up and not any rain. We stop and ate at a truck stop before we came home. Well till the next trip we will be seeing you.

On Wednesday Lois & Carol did laundry and we all just sat around and did nothing. We did go to Steak & Shank for supper and drove around Bedford area before we came back to camp and play cards. That is about all we did yesterday.

Summer 2010

Yesterday we went to breakfast at a little place in Bedford IN called Old Buggy. It was very good place to go. After that we went to French Lick to a Casino for a couple of hours. We all just left a view bucks there for the Indians. Left there and drove back to a couple of stores so the ladies go do some shopping.

Later we went and saw the Longest Cover Bridge in the U.S., it was under reconstruction. And then went to Brownstown IN for some Ice Cream.

Summer 2010

Yesterday morning we left and drove over to Brown County State Park. This is a very big State Park and beautiful one. After driving around in the State Park for and hour we went to Little Nashville IN and had lunch. The ladies went Thur a couple of shops but stop because it was real humid their. Today I think we will go to a Casino and few other places.

Summer 2010/Bedford IN

Well its over for this year and we all said our good byes as we head our separate ways. We left yesterday around 9 AM and arrive at Free Spirit RV Resort in Bedford IN around 4 PM. Don & Carol and Lois & I went to a Pizza Hut for supper last night. After that we drove around to see what Bedford IN had and came back to camp and crashed.

Summer 2010

Its been to hot down here in TN to do much. We drive around a little a see some of the country side and then right back to camp to the A/C. We will be leaving in the morning for IN and hopefully its a bit cooler there.
