Fall/Winter & Spring 2010/2011

We went dancing last night at Park Place with some friends (6 couples). We dance to a 50 & 60's band the Cruisers for 3 hours. One of the ladies was having a birthday so they had a cake for her. One of the couples was from Owatta Canada. Two other couples was from MN and IN and 3 couples was from MI. Here are a few pictures from the dance.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2010/2011

Well its been a few days since I wrote anything in this blog. The weather has been great here for the last few days (in the 80's). Been going out dancing a few times in the area and visiting friends that we had not seen in a year. The weather here now has changed to cold, in the 40's and tonight it will be in the 30's. One thing nice is that by week-end it will be back up in the 70's.

I call Chuck & Vickie back home to see what they have been up too this morning. Chuck said he has been looking for a house to buy and has put a few bids in but have not had any luck yet. They thought about looking around the Climax area too see what is available. He sold is home in Cadillac in December.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2010/2011

Happy New Year to all. On Thursday night we met some friends for supper and went to a little coffee shop to hear some good old country music. This was quite the place and they name it Savory Perk. It was in a house that some lady decided to make for kids to come to. I will have some pictures later added to this blog.

On New Years Eve we went to Park Place for some dancing & fun. Amanda & Reggie took us with them and met up some of their friends. We had a good time and did make midnight.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2010/2011

Today we got the laundry done early and then went to Wal-Mart. What a mess that was, with lots of people hurrying getting the last Christmas shopping done. Could not get out of that place any too soon. Spent the rest of the day just visiting with friends. Mel & Joyce from the VIP park stop by to chat for a while. Around 4 pm we went over to Reggie & Amanda place for some margaritas and sat around an chatted. All in all it was a nice day and evening. Oh yea everyone have a Merry Christmas.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2010/2011

We did a lot around the 5th wheel yesterday getting things in order for our stay here in Breeze Wood Cove. Lois had a lot of things to do inside and I took care of the outside. We still need to wash the 5th wheel yet and the truck. Today we are going to do laundry and then to Wal-Mart to get a few things.

Yesterday around 5 o'clock Bill & Judye came over from Welsco and we went out supper. Its was good to see them again. The last time was up in Conroe TX at the HH Rally back in October. Judye and Bill both had colds so they did not stay after supper. We will see them on Christmas Day again.

Fall/Winter & Spring 2010/2011

Well we made it to the RGV yesterday around 1:30 pm and sit up camp (Temp. was in the 80's and breezy). While in route here we spotted a Cruiser being pulled with a truck like our friends Don & Carol. Thought for a moment they had come to join us. Upon arrival we were greeted by many friends from last year. Our neighbors from Missouri (Reggie & Amanda) had a beer waiting for me after I had sit up. Friends that we travel with (Mike & Sandra) are camp at a sit a little ways from us. We'll finish sitting up today and will have supper with friends (Bill & Judye). They are in the Valley for the winter and staying about 20 miles away.

We made it to Victoria TX yesterday about 4:30 pm. Drove about 372 miles before we got here. When got here it was in the 80's and a little breeze blowing. Man what beautiful weather. After we sit up we went and got fuel for$2.88 at a Murphy's and than went to Denney's for supper. After all that we went to HEB for some fruit and then back to the 5th wheel for the night.
